Gainesville owners rate Off Leash K9 Training 5.0★ on Google:
★★★★★“I brought my rescued dog Marley for two-week board and train. She has now come back as a more confident dog who is so much easier to handle.”
★★★★★“Off Leash K9 is a phenomenal program. They delivered excellent results & totally dispelled my initial reservations about e-collar training. He’s the same affectionate pup we fell in love with, but he listens! He loves life & we love him.”
★★★★★“If you are having issues with your dog you have to use these folks. After one week our German Shepard went from out of control to people asking us if he was a police dog. Best of all my dog could not be happier with a purpose and a job to do.”

The e-collar is a communication tool, not a punishment, and it is included in every obedience and board & train package.
An e-collar is a collar with a remote-controlled stimulation point, similar to the e-stim therapy a chiropractor uses. It produces a subtle pulse, closer to a tap on the shoulder than a “shock,” and the remote keeps you in control for up to 400 yards.
At your first meeting our trainer puts the e-collar on your arm so you feel how mild it is before it goes on your dog. Your dog will not wear it all the time: inside your home, most dogs listen without it within days. Outside and off leash we recommend it every time. More in our dog training FAQ.
If you are not completely amazed and satisfied in the first lesson, the lesson is free.* Obedience and board & train packages also include a free refresher for life* on their commands.
* Lifetime refresher/support applies to the obedience commands included in your package. It is impossible to guarantee complete fixes of major behavioral issues such as dog aggression or people aggression; we can give you control and help you manage them. Ask us for details.

Yes. The e-collar produces a mild pulse, like a tap on the shoulder, and is never used to “shock” a dog into submission. At your first lesson our trainer puts it on your own arm so you feel it yourself. It works for dogs of any size over five months, and most dogs come running when they hear the collar switch on, because it means training and time outside.
